Doctor Farda Orlan is the wife of Bishop Orlan, and is a Baen. This has earned her a lot of distrust from both factions of the planet, and only the protection of her husband has kept her safe. Farda is a geneticist, specifically tasked with learning how to create genetic implants to help improve human life. She has already been successful by creating one implant that improves human sensory abilities, such as touch, smell, seeing, and hearing.
